Two LIttle Boyz

Yeah, it's in his nose. What little boyz will do with random candy wrappers.

Isn't that cute.

I know it is late to post for Halloween, but I couldn't help but post these ones. Don't let two little boyz and a camera sit in a car alone for a few minutes. On the other hand...do. It makes for some great bribbing pictures for the future.

Oh my...

So I was at work a couple of weeks ago and I got a picture text from Pots. I was amazed. I didn't know he knew how to text. Then I was the pic of this pretty Pheasant. I thought, "Wow, that pretty cool." Then a few minutes later I get another text. Now I was really amazed, until I saw it. BEWARE, the next pic is really grusome.

I was amazed/worried... actually I wasn't really sure what to think. After I got home from work I walked into the house and there was a fabulos aroma. I was so hungry I immediatley went to the dutchoven on the stove and dished me up some dinner. I was pretty sure it was the above pheasant. Pots assured me that it was. I wasn't too worried. I'm mean really, I eat deer, elk, sheep out of my backyard. I was pretty sure I could eat this too. I took a small first bite and was shocked..I liked it! Pots is a great cook and can pretty much make anything taste awsome. And honestly I only gagged twice....when I thought that dinner was in my backyard an hour ago. You're awsome Pots! Way to be a man and a great husband. You get a gold star.

Bambi's Cousin

Pots has just pulled in the driveway from hunting as we were on our way out the door to go trick or treating. The boyz just had to stop for a picture.

The mighty hunter

This elk was taken on Friday afternoon on the top of Trout Creek in Strawberry. This was during the muzzle loader spike elk. This was Potsy's first elk with a muzzle loader. So yeah, he has killed Bambi, and.... Bambi's cousin.

A Day On The Farm

The picture of Wyatt was taken a few weeks ago while I was at work. Pots took the picture while he was on the farm. The pictures of Kyle was taken last week on a really warm day (obviously). A buck had gotten out of his pen and Kyle was the first to notice. He was running out the door screaming at the sheep the whole way. He threw on his mucky boots grabbed Gus and off they went. The picture of Kyle on the post was him yelling, in victory, at the sheep after he got it back into the pen. The boyz seem to do a great job of keeping an eye on the sheep. Not too much gets past these little ones, and they actuallly do a pretty good job of herding them back into the pen when they're needed.

First Fishing Trip

This was the boyz first fishing trip, and you have never seen a better "beginner's luck". We were at a small lake in Payson Canyon on June 25th for the Fielding family reunion and Brady caught 7 in the hour we were there. We had to keep 5 of them becuase the little buggers kept swallowing the hook. Brady was pretty proud. The next week we took them again and Kyle was able to score his first fish. I know the pics are sideways, but if you look you'll notice that Kyle looks like he is happy about this. Now look harder and you'll notice that he is actually crying. He was really excited that he got something with his fishing pole until it came to the surface and saw that it was something that was alive and moving. Then he started to freak out. Wyatt looks pretty pround in these pictures but the poor little thing wasn't able to snatch his first big one until the end of July. What a bummer. He did eventually get one and he still brags about it. I have really enjoyed this summer and am really sad that it is over, but I am looking forward to playing in the snow with the boys. It will be fun to go sledding, drink hot coccoa, and eat chilli at Grandma Carter's again. This is something that my boyz did last year and still talk about. I am glad that my boyz are able to know their great-grandma and grandpa and are able to have a relationship with them. That isn't something that happens very often.

The Hunt - Poor Little Guy

Pots took this picture while on the top of the mtn looking down to camp. This is the top of Cow Canyon in Strawberry. This picture was taken during the muzzel loader.

This would be Bambi...murdered. Yeah, look hard, there's horns.

This picture was taken during the rifle deer hunt. Same canyon-different view.

And this is our trailer at base camp. This picture was taken through Potsy's spotting scope at the top of Cow Canyon.

Here I am!

Here I am! Ok I finally did it thanks to Aunt Chicken sending me Tosha's blogspot page. After seeing how cute it was, and how I always look up to her for everything she does, I decided to go for it. I want to keep up with family and friends even when I don't have time to sit down for a lunch or have time to give a call.
